I had no idea

I simply didn't know that I could do so many things with technology in the classroom. I will most likely be using a Power Point template, a blog, online document sharing, digital cameras when I head off to my teaching career. I have always understood technology but not really used it. this class forced me to see what needs to be brought into my teaching style. Thanks for teaching this class during the summer for us.

I have really enjoyed this class

I have really liked this class, it has been great to see all of the different ways that technology can enhance a lesson plan. I also liked the Powerpoint book it has some good ideas. I will not be in class for the next week, I have a family reunion I have to go too. Is there anything I need to hand in?

I hate getting sick during school

I was sick for the weekeknd and once again I forgot the post. I had a lot of fun with the powerpoint activities, I really would like to use the game show template I think it would really help in my classroom. I also made a powerpoint template with my picture on the background for the first time Picasa3 was fun to edit the photos as well.

I am no good at this blogging thing

Once again, I have posted my blog to you late. Sorry for the delay, I was in a part of Utah that didn't have a good Internet connection. My In-laws computer is very slow, it took me 10 minutes just to change the Desktop picture for them. Well at any rate, I like the class and I really enjoy learning how to use these applications and tools like Picasa3 and Kidspiration. I could really do a lot with those programs in my classroom. I could do a class picture log and store it in Picasa3. I could have the kids edit the pictures and they could post a collage of their work.

Sorry I cant believe I missed the blog posting. I have enjoyed the class learning how to use myuen page. It makes me think that I can do a blog and keep up on it too. I told my sister about Wordle.net and she wants to now create t-shirts using wordle for a reunion we are having in June.

Week 1

I guess I need to add a post to keep up. Instead of going to class, the first week, I was working as a computer chip designer contractor. I was completely oblivious that my classes had started right under my nose. So I finished that job and then went to a Boy Scout Wood Badge Training course.

Week 2 (week 1 for me)

Well I have been staying up late because of my classes. I have had to make up classes that I missed the week before. What a pain to catchup on assignments. I will attempt to stay on task to improve the sleep that I get. I like the class so far I find it very exciting to learn about these new technologies for the classroom.
